What’s on ahead of the Jubilee weekend

The Queen will mark 70 years on the throne this June and in honour, the country will be treated to a four-day bank holiday, with a whole host of Jubilee themed events to help mark the occasion. Here are some of the great products, menus and events our customers have on offer ahead of the weekend to make it a truly royal affair.

Quaglino’s will be recreating the menu that it served for the Queen’s coronation 70 years ago. The five course menu will consist of foie gras terrine with port jelly, Dover sole à la royale and an assiette of strawberries with a gingerbread and liqueur biscuit. It costs £65 and includes a complimentary chocolate gift from Charbonnel et Walker.

The Jubilee edition bags blend teas from India, Sri Lanka and China to deliver mellow sweetness and golden brightness. Presented in a decorative carton, Fortnum’s Diamond Jubilee Tea blend will be a lasting memory of the happy and historic occasion. It’s a blend well and truly fit for a queen. The store has also launched a set of hampers, fine bone China teaware, as well as paper versions for the many street parties taking place across the country.
