Blues Kitchen, Manchester

Taking over the former Walkabout site on Quay Street, near Spinningfields, Blues Kitchen originally started in London and has now brought the taste of the deep south to Manchester with blues and soul at the heart of its menu. Opening last May, The Blues Kitchen is one of the city’s newcomers – taking the form of a bar, restaurant, and live music venue in one.

They serve an array of dishes that are smoked, barbecued, and glazed. House favourites include St Louis pork ribs, beef brisket sandwiches and their buffalo chicken wings. The Blues Kitchen also has the largest selection of bourbon, whiskey and rye in Manchester. And it doesn’t stop there! The venue offers up live shows every night with club nights every Friday and Saturday. What are you waiting for, get booking.
