Woods Foodservice has been established for over 40 years as the primary choice for general and specialist, ambient, chilled, frozen products and the finest fresh produce.
We deliver to restaurants, hotels, gastropubs, caterers, and cafes and deli's in the thriving food cities of London, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton.
We operate an extremely reliable six day a week delivery service with an order deadline of 10pm if you use our online ordering system, EDI, app or email.
Customer care is paramount to our fully-trained, passionate and experienced customer service team. Dedicated Business relationship Managers will endeavour to guarantee complete customer satisfaction at all times.
OUR STORY
Woods Foodservice originated from Woods Table Dainties, a company supplying fine foods to the catering trade in the swinging sixties.
As Woods Table Dainties became more successful they were eventually bought out by a larger company, Winton Smith. At this point Winton Smith offered Alfred Labbett, Woods Table Daintie’s best sales executive, a franchise for the London area which he duly took. Alfred eventually created his own company, Woods Caterfoods. Alfred set about increasing the company’s profile in London and surrounding areas.
AWARDS
The Readers’ Choice Awards champion the hospitality sector’s best products, suppliers, brands and equipment, and are voted for by hundreds of professional chefs from across the restaurant and pub sectors. The awards were launched in 2009 as the Chefs’ Choice Award but were re-branded as the Readers’ Choice Awards in 2017.

We are constantly striving to improve every aspect of our business, in particular looking to reduce our environmental impact.
Although every effort is made to minimise emissions our remaining emissions measured through the carbon trust we will neutralise by planting trees.
