The best places to visit for Bonfire Night 2022

Remember Remember the 5th of November because Bonfire night 2022 is coming up and we have some dining spots that you can visit to make the night extra sensational. Firework and bonfire displays will be hosted around London and we’re happy to share three places for you to get the most out of Britain’s annual Bonfire celebration!


Fiume | Battersea Power Station 

Italian restaurant sitting on the bank of the River Thames with a large Mediterranean piazza style terrace. They serve wholesome, hearty recipes made with fresh and vibrant ingredients offering the finest Italian food to feast on. A lot of root vegetables and truffles will make an appearance in the dishes at Fiume with hand rolled pasta. Some Autumnal dishes include Paccheri, sausage and black truffle, Fettucine ai frutti di mare (Seafood Spaghetti) and Rump of lamb, cannellini beans and roasted peppers. They also have a rotating menu of gelatos and sorbets for you to indulge and relax before (or after) celebrations!

 

Battersea Park Fireworks display is on Saturday 5th November at 6pm . It's a 5min drive or 20min walk from Fiume.


The Union Bar | Chiswick 

A modern and friendly restaurant and bar in the heart of Chiswick Park. The perfect place to drop in for a bite of their tapas style menu offering sharing boards like Charcuterie, small plates such as Crispy polenta fried chicken with sriracha and gorgeous mains including dishes like Aged Beef burger with Emmental cheese and red onion. At the Union Bar, all their food is freshly prepared and cooked in the kitchen, and the vegetables and haddock are seasonal and locally sourced. The Union Bar is a great dining spot for a variety of occasions and if you’re celebrating Guy Foulkes, we’re positive that you’ll be dazzled by the flavours they bring to the table. To top off your bonfire night, why not check out their dessert menu and enjoy a delightful Sticky Toffee Pudding served with salted caramel and banana ice cream. 

 

Chiswick Park Fireworks display is on Thursday 3rd November at 5pm - 8pm. It's an 8min drive or 10min walk from The Union Bar. 


Oblix | The Shard 

If you’re aiming high for Bonfire night 2022, you can take in the stunning views at The Shard, Oblix. This is a refined, urban restaurant split in two different spaces offering two views spanning over London from East to West. You can find sophisticated and classic dishes along with a fine variety of options on the menu to have a tasteful Guy Foulkes experience. You will find a Wagyu burger with mature cheddar and truffle fries on the menu alonside a signature oblix pepper steak to sink your teeth in. The Oblix is located on the 32nd floor where you can warm up from the cold and get ready to enjoy the colofrul hues of bursting fireworks with a glass of Prosecco in your hand. Oblix have some special treats on offer this night including hot chocolate, toffee apples and and popcorn too. There will be spectacular bonfire and firework displays all across london and depending on your choice of view, we are sure you’ll be amazed!

 

There will be multiple displays that you can view from the Shard between the hours of 4pm  - 8:30pm. Displays will be coming from Alexandra Palace, Wimbledon Park, Morden Park, Battersea Park and more.
